This afternoon I had the opportunity to personally visit over 200 wonderful residents of Abbott Terrace nursing home. All residents recieved carnations and many of the women tried on my crown. I spoke to one woman who was in tears after seeing the crown and we all wondered why. She explained to us that she was a former contestant in our state in the 1940's and that it brought back such wonderful memories for her. The smiles from that day will be forever in my heart!

Don: As proud as you are of Lynne, you would have been in awe of her yesterday. If God truly has an assistant, it was Lynne. She made so many people so very happy on what probably was an otherwise very lonely St. Valentine's Day.
