What a beautiful day it was for a volunteer awards ceremony at Luther Ridge in Middletown.I was on hand as the key note speaker on "Volunteers are Beautiful people" and I had the opportunity to meet many of the residents that were getting awards from the Point of Light Foundation for theier volunteer service. It was wonderful to hear that this one facility alone donated over 2500 hours of volunteer service.
I also was proud that I had the opportunity to "Pin" 6 people who were deserving of the Presidential Service Award, We had 2 bronze winners, 3 silver winners and one very determined young man recieved the Gold Award!!!
Absolutely wonderful!!!
